A Recent study by Institution of Engineering & Technology revealed young people from LGBT community avoid taking STEM subjects due to fear of discrimination.
It was the late ‘90s when a 14-year-old boy was taken from a quiet street in San Luis, Colombia and recruited into a guerrilla group named Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC).
"There's not so many spaces where you can come in, be yourself and watch football," said Pavel Klymenko, the Eastern European development director for the FARE network.
“The £4.5 million budget is derisory and insulting. It coincides with cuts in funding for sexual health clinics, which make it hard to get testing and treatment appointments. This is contributing to a rise in infections among gay – and straight – people."
Because the new framework means that morality, justified by culture and religion, will continue to be institutionalised in the schools’ regulations and curricula, teachers will continue with the abstinence-only approach.
